Today was amazingly productive. I went shopping and bought my school supplies, a pair of jeans, a plaid blazer, a tee from American Eagle (it's not hideous, though, it's really cute), a pair of ballet flats (tan suede with pink lining, to match my blazer and hopefully other items of clothing I own or will own), and a few used CDs: Ryan Adams Love Is Hell Pt. 2 (I've been looking everywhere for that, since I've got part 1!), The Beatles Anthology 1 (now all I need is 3) and Pearl Jam No Code (it's so great that only like 20 people like this album and everyone else sells it... huge opportunities for me to complete my card collection! now all I need is set D... I've got C, O and now E. thank god i love this album). I actually even came home with money, so I splurged on good mascara (which I am in desperate need of) and lip color (both Christian Dior stuff, from sephora.com).

Shopping = good.

Today's paycheck goes into savings, and next week's goes to continuing my wardrobe addition, because it is in desperate need. (That's what I get for getting in shape and dropping pounds.) I also want to get some more Dior makeup. Why is it that I am so in love with everything expensive? It's draining.

After shopping, I had a fantastic supper. I found this recipe for these great southwestern-style wraps. Here's how I do them:

Southwestern Wraps, Mara-style
1 taco shell
1 1/2 tbsp bean dip (that's how much I use per shell, you can vary however you like)
2 tbsp salsa
4 lettuce leaves (I like my lettuce in moderation)
shitload of shredded cheddar chese

Just warm up the bean dip for 30 seconds and the taco shell for 8-10 seconds. Spread the bean dip on the shell, add your toppings (there's so many other things you could add to this, too, like diced tomatoes, cilantro, sour cream, etc... your milage varies from mine, I'm sure), fold up and EAT. It's so good. I had 2 for supper, packed full of stuff. mmmmmmmm. You will love them, too, if you're into eating any of this kind of stuff.

Then I walked 6 1/2ish miles. So humid... I took a really cold shower when I got home, needless to say.

Oh! And if you try those wraps, let me know what you think. I have a few other easy things that I make that I could share with you guys, too. (I'm kitchen-deficient, so trust me when I say they are easy.)
